The continuing saga of Michaela, complete with photos.

May 1, 2:00am PDT

More and more often, the sounds Michaela makes resemble words. For example, buh bye for bye bye, awoe for hello, etc. She is particularly fond of dogs and blurts out da and points whenever she sees one. A blind woman at a local store was very kind to allow Michaela to pet her golden retriever the other day. She's still not walking, but she's getting closer and closer. She can stand up without holding onto anything for quite a while (5 - 10 seconds) and today she took about three steps before falling.
